Two weeks to 20 days in advance in most cases. The data collected by the organization Coldiretti makes possible to qualify the winter 2014 as the second warmest for over two centuries. The mild winter has resulted in early maturity for fruits and vegetables of spring, upsetting the usual schedule and making forecasts of difficult production.
This winter the temperatures recorded showed +1.8 degrees above the average in the whole peninsula, with a peak in the northeast of +3 degrees above the average observed during the period 1971-2000.
