Consultancy Trigo & Farinhas announced through a press release that domestic wheat prices in Brazil have been stable because of the entrance of Paraguayan wheat. The consultancy informed that the local prices in the state of Paraná have not changed in the last 10 days with the grain imported from Paraguay being sold between US$ 235/ton to US$ 250/ton. Therefore, Luiz Pacheco, Trigo & Farinhas director, foresees that the wheat prices would not climb.
“Local wheat is each time more scarce, but the entrance of imported wheat impedes new highs,” analyzed Pacheco.
