Oilseed harvesting in Ukraine is drawing to an end. As of November 14, sunseed was harvested from 5865.3 Th ha (98% of the projected 5955.6 Th ha) with a crop of 11772.1 KMT and a yield of 2.01 MT/ha (down 11.1% year-on-year), reports UkrAgroConsult.
At the same time, soybeans were harvested from 1846.3 Th ha (up 6.3% year-on-year) out of the projected 1990.1 Th ha. The soybean crop amounted to 3536.8 KMT with a yield of 1.92 MT/ha (down 16% year-on-year).
According to current information, farmers have planted 860.5 Th ha of winter rape that is 12% above the projected 769.2 Th ha. So, winter rape was sown on 836 Th ha a year ago.
